Fusbadhuruva is the 8^th nakaiy of the Iruvai monsoon. Usually clear blue skies and calm seas.

Fishing is generally very good during this period.

WEATHER

Isolates showers and a few thunderstorms will be experienced in southern atolls. Except for a few showers, fine weather all around. 7 days of showers are expected during the month of March, with average temperature being at 29 degrees Celsius. Expect to get around 9 hours of sunshine on average every day. Not bad for a full day fishing trip. For this month fishing arsenal, be sure to pack lots of sun screen and a good hat – just for good measure.

WIND

Wind blows from the east at 6 to 14 mph. Seas are expected to be slight and calm. Waves height are expected to be 2 feet when slight rising to 4 feet when rough. Boat rides are generally expected to be smooth with few becoming bumpy.

FISHING

Fishing is generally believed to be very good during this period. Fishing peaks from 11^th till 21^st. 8 days in this nakaiy are major days for fishing. 

Early morning trolling for Wahoo and Sail Fish is ought to be excellent. Jigging for large yellowfin tuna early morning and at dawn is great.

16^th and 17^th are excellent for night fishing. Weekend anglers better use these days to fish for Red Snapper.

TOP CATCH

Tuna (kanneli) and Sail Fish (Fangandu Hibaru) becoming frequent catches in morning trolling.
