WEATHER
Clear blue skies, strong winds and rough seas are expected during the last “Halha” of the Iruvai Season. Rain is accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms. Else the weather is expected to be fine. Its generally thought among fisherman that Halha is due to the settling of Hulhangu (westerly) to Iruvai (easterly) winds. 5 days of showers are expected during the month of January, with average temperature being at 25 degrees Celsius. Expect to get around 9 hours of sunshine on average every day. Not bad for a full day fishing trip. For this month fishing arsenal, be sure to pack a rain coat with your sun screen – just for good measure.
